I was sooooo excited to receive my Spring FabFitFun box and must admit I did watch a couple un-boxings so I did ruin the surprise for myself just a little bit. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed un-boxing all of this season’s lifestyle and beauty goodies.
Besides getting amazing products for $39.99 (If you use a promo code), you also are introduced to brands that support charitable organizations. Along with including the price, I also want to share a little bit about some of the amazing work these brands are doing. You can also watch my Youtube video where I unbox it too!
FabFitFun pulled out all the stops for their 3rd anniversary and as a customer I can say I was not only thrilled with the products but also with the brands they included. Seven brands included in the box are female founded and as April 4 was Women’s Equal Pay Day, I found it very fitting as well as a bit symbolic.
This season FabFitFun also is supporting the More Than Me charity. More Than Me’s mission is to improve the lives of women and girls in Liberia by providing tuition-free education. When a girl receives an education it boosts her wages 10-20% which ultimately helps her excel and succeed as well as give her a safe environment to thrive. I applaud FabFitFun for supporting such an amazing organization.
This season one of the beauty products they included was a lip kit ($48) by the brand RealHer. RealHer is built around philanthropy, empowerment and positivity, which you can tell immediately by the way they brand their lip products. Each product has an inspiring saying and for every product they sell, 20% is given to charity. Now that’s a brand I can get behind! Not to mention the quality of their lip gloss, liquid lipstick, and lip pencil are so creamy and pigmented!
Another amazing thing about all the beauty items in the box is they are all without parabens, sulfates, or phtalates (which are basically common artificial ingredients used in beauty products that aren’t so great for you).
The face masks ($28) by Karuna are hydrating and use aloe vera and Chinese licorice to soothe and detoxify the skin. And bonus you don’t just get 1, or 2..you get 4! These will be perfect to perk up your dehydrated winter skin and get it ready for summer!
The Briogeo Rosarco Milk ($20) has rosehip, argan and coconut oils to nourish your split ends and also protect your hair from UV rays. Bonus both Karuna and Briogeo are cruelty-free!
The Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator is another great pick me up for the skin (can you see a pattern here?!). This product is meant to polish away dead skin cells and leave you with a bright, healthy glow. (And for a whopping $79 I would hope so!) Review coming soon!
One of my favorite, if not most favorite, products in the bag is the Milly Zip pouch ($45) which doubles as a makeup bag or a bikini pouch! This water-resistant pouch is perfect for a day at the lake/beach or when you have damp suits you’re bringing back in your suitcase. Also – Slay!
I always love receiving jewelry – especially if it’s gold and I can wear it every day and this “Joshua Tree” cuff ($80) from Emerald Duv is both! This handcrafted piece is both simple, yet makes a statement. I can see wearing this to the lake and then out for the night this summer!
These Deborah Lipmann nail polishes ($19) will be a staple when it comes to mani/pedis this season. The pink shade is “Shape of My Heart” and the white shade is “Like a Virgin”. You may also get a pastel blue in your box! I may give the marbling technique with these two a try and spice up my nail game! What do you think?!
And lastly is the Roundie ($50) by Gypsy 05. As you can see the colors are so fun and spring and the pattern is a fun mandala. The roundie is so perfect and versatile for the season – use it at the beach, on a picnic, at a festival or wear it as a shawl. Or even so use it as a photo backdrop like I did!
Well my box came to a whopping total of $369! Woof! But I was able to get it all for only $39.99 – what a steal! If you want to see me unbox this season’s box check out my video below!
